A critical degree is a specific degree within a zodiac sign that is traditionally considered to carry extra significance or intensity. These degrees are often associated with turning points, heightened energy, or a sense of fate. The most commonly recognized critical degrees are 0°, 13°, and 26° of any sign, though some systems also include 29° (the anaretic degree).
