Eleventh House
The house of friendships, groups, hopes, and long-term goals in the natal chart.
The Eleventh House is the sector of the natal chart associated with friendships, social networks, collective goals, and aspirations. It reveals how you connect with groups, what you hope for in the future, and the kind of communities you naturally attract. Ruled by Aquarius and Saturn (traditional) or Uranus (modern), this house emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and shared ideals.
How it works
In a natal chart, the Eleventh House is the third house from the Ascendant, counting counterclockwise. Planets placed here color your social life and ambitions. For example, Venus in the Eleventh House suggests you make friends easily and value harmony in groups, while Saturn here may indicate a smaller, more selective circle or a sense of responsibility toward collective projects. The sign on the house cusp further shapes the energy: Leo on the cusp might bring a desire to lead in groups, while Pisces could attract artistic or spiritual communities.
In practice
When interpreting the Eleventh House, look at its ruler (the planet ruling the sign on the cusp), any planets inside, and aspects to those planets. This house often comes up in questions about friendship, networking, or long-term dreams. A well-aspected Eleventh House can indicate supportive friends and achievable goals; challenging aspects might show conflicts in groups or unrealistic hopes. Notice also the condition of the house ruler—it can tell you how easily you manifest your aspirations.
